Lincoln Jiu Jitsu Academy, LLC was founded in Lincoln, CA in 2022 by husband and wife team Chuy and Ashley Moreno. With a focus on community and creating stronger individuals through teamwork, they joined the Aspire to Inspire Jiu Jitsu organization as an affiliate gym in March of 2023.
They expanded to double their mat space in their current location in June of 2023, and in July of 2024, Chuy’s brother Manny Moreno joined the team as a co-head instructor.

Chuy Moreno
Chuy Moreno is the co-founder, co-owner, and co-head instructor of Lincoln Jiu Jitsu Academy. A second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and certified Muay Thai kru, Mr. Chuy has been training and teaching for over 15 years. He received his black belt in BJJ in 2018 from Osvaldo “Queixinho” Moizinho and Manny Moreno.
Manny Moreno
Manny Moreno is the co-head instructor of Lincoln Jiu Jitsu Academy. A second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and decorated competitor, Mr. Manny has been training and teaching for over 16 years. He received his black belt in BJJ in 2017 from Samir Chantre and Osvaldo “Queixinho” Moizinho.
